The only LEED Platinum certified building in the United States located on a certified organic farm. The two-story concrete and steel framed building contains retail space for sale of local organic foods, a community kitchen, and classroom space available to the public.
The project serves as a community venue for education on farming, sustainable living, and energy and water saving systems.
Features of the building include acoustic decking, energy efficient lighting, geothermal energy systems, natural ventilation, a living roof, solar panel array and insulated form concrete walls.
